OREM, Utah (AP/Gray News) - The man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk allegedly engraved messages into bullet casings before killing him on Wednesday in Utah, officials said.

Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested on Sept. 11 and charged with suspicion of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily harm, and obstruction of justice charges.

According to a press conference, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox says authorities have yet to reveal a motive, but they did describe evidence they recovered, which they say could shed light on the attack, AP reported.

Cox says engravings on bullet casings were recovered from a Mauser .30-caliber, bolt-action rifle believed to have been used in the attack, including one that said, “Hey, fascist! Catch!” Cox said.
