SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - In response to the shooting death of Charlie Kirk at a public political event, we’re getting answers regarding a major political gathering right here in western Mass this weekend.
Nearly four thousand people are expected to visit the MassMutual Center Saturday to hear from constitutional officers, from Governor Maura Healey to Senators Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren.
However, the convention is being held just days after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at a political rally at Utah Valley University.
