Two women are in serious condition after the moped they were riding crashed into another vehicle Thursday along Kaukonahua Road in Wahiawa.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash at Kaukonahua and Kamananui roads at about 5:30 p.m.

EMS said the two women, ages 22 and 24, were on one moped when the collision happened.

Paramedics treated them for multiple injuries and took them to the hospital in serious condition.
