SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield motel owner is accused of operating without a state license after his application was denied and upheld on appeal, according to misdemeanor charges filed today in Greene County.

According to court dockets, Haresakamar Surti, of Texas, is charged with two counts of operating a lodging establishment without a license. He’s reported to be the owner of the motel.

The probable cause statement — which was signed by the lodging program manager for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services — alleges that since at least March 18, Surti has continued to operate Motel 6 #2010 at 2655 N. Glenstone Ave. without a license.
