DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - One Decatur high school is reminding the community that an adult must accompany middle schoolers to its football game Friday night.
MacArthur High School said in a Sept. 12 Facebook post that parents or guardians cannot simply drop those students off at the stadium and leave them.
The school reported that there have been three previous incidents involving middle school students who attended the game with an adult.
However, MacArthur did not provide further details of those gameday incidents.
MacArthur (2-0) is set to play Normal University at 7 p.m. Friday at MacArthur High School.
