Former Michigan and current Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy has had one hell of a week.

After taking down the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football with a historic fourth-quarter comeback, McCarthy and his fiancée Katya Kuropas welcomed their first child into this world a few days later.

They had a boy and named him Rome — sounds like a future Buckeye killer, just like his dad.

McCarthy led the Vikings to an improbable 27-24 victory over the Bears on Monday. McCarthy threw two touchdown passes and ran for another touchdown in the game’s final frame. It was the first time in NFL history that a quarterback led a comeback down 10 points or more on the road to start the fourth quarter.
