Take it from Casey Visser: “It’s nice to be speaking again after all these years.”

Which might throw you for a loop if you hear it offhand. Visser is a Billings community staple. He was a schoolteacher for years and now takes the helm as Billings Studio Theatre’s creative director. Spend more than a few minutes around Visser and you’ll quickly learn that he’s not really the type to not talk.

However, that line didn’t come from Visser. It came from Dr. Clayton Allard, who Visser is portraying. The doctor — a longtime Billings orthopedist — died in January 1975. You can see why he’s so happy to finally be speaking again.
