ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Alexander County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged 21-year-old Kayne Lavance Alford-Bruce in connection with a series of motor vehicle break-ins.

Alford-Bruce is facing the following charges: • 17 counts of Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle • 3 counts of Attempted Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle • 3 counts of Larceny of a Firearm • 7 counts of Larcenys • 1 count of Larceny of a Motor Vehicle

He is currently being held under $350,000 secured bond in the Alexander County Detention Center. His first court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 15.
