BANGOR, Maine (WABI) -It’s a beautiful Friday, and many people stopped by 1162 Union Street in Bangor hoping to do a little yard sale shopping with the variety of items seen from the street.

Dozens of items that were donated by community members are taking up an entire parking lot in Bangor for the 13th Annual Benefit Yard Sale for Sarah’s House.

Sarah Robinson, the founder of the cancer hospitality house in Holden, passed away from cancer in 2011.

One of her friends who’s the organizer of the event said this yard sale was one of the many dreams Sarah had to help the community.

Turns out as the yard sale has grown each year, they aren’t the only ones proud to carry on her legacy.
