NILES A new indoor pickleball facility is preparing to open its doors at the Eastwood Mall Complex.

The Dink Yard plans to open in October in the space between Pet Supplies Plus and Regal Cinema.

The facility features six professional-grade indoor pickleball courts for all-year-round play. The company will offer memberships, hourly court rentals and open-play sessions with plans to add leagues and tournaments in the future.

The Dink Yard is opening on Wednesday, October 1, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for October 4. According to the release, the company is holding a "sneak peek week" between the opening and the grand opening with an offer for $5 open-play sessions in the evenings.
