Justin and Hailey Bieber attracted attention in Cambridge, Ontario, on Friday as they visited several local businesses. The couple's outing came shortly after the surprise release of Justin's new album, _Swag II_.

The Biebers explored the southern Ontario city, located about an hour west of Toronto. They stopped at Monigram Coffee and The Mule restaurant, among other local spots. The Downtown Cambridge Business Improvement Area shared photos of the couple's visits, expressing excitement about their presence.

In a post on his Instagram account, Justin shared a photo of himself playing pool and darts at Chicago Pub & Billiards on Hespeler Road. He captioned the image, "I'm a gamer what can I say." The pub also posted photos and a video of Justin singing his song "Go Baby," showcasing the singer-songwriter's fun time at the venue.

Local singer-songwriter Alysha Brilla commented on Justin's post about The Mule, saying, "It was so nice meeting you both yesterday and for being so sweet with my niece in the restaurant. Your kindness touched us and of course her aunty (a fellow artist) loved the precious moment."

Cambridge has a special connection to the Biebers, as they own a home in nearby Puslinch. They spent significant time there during the pandemic, with Justin describing it as "one of the most peaceful places."

Cambridge City Councilor Scott Hamilton noted the significance of the couple's visit. He stated, "It's not every day that one of the best-selling music artists of all time visits your city." He added that the visit connects the celebrity world with the everyday lives of residents.

Hamilton emphasized the importance of local businesses, saying, "We love our downtown core." He expressed hope that the Biebers enjoyed their time in the city, highlighting their shared experiences with local residents.

Mayor Jan Liggett expressed pride in the couple's visit, stating, "I have followed the reports of residents spotting them out and about — enjoying our restaurants, scenery, and sense of community." She noted that the Biebers' presence showcases the Cambridge experience on a global stage.
