WINNESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - Authorities responded to a report of a body found in the Upper Iowa River on Friday.

Around 10 a.m. Friday, authorities responded to a report that a body had been found in the Upper Iowa River near the Bluffton area.

Authorities recovered the body from the river and identified the individual.

The individual’s identify has not been released at this time.

Police say the public is not in danger, and no foul play is suspected. No other information is known at this time.
