CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. –A nine-month long operation in Cabell County has resulted in the arrests of ten people and the seizure of illegal drugs.
According to a social media post from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office, the operation focused on a drug trafficking organization that connected Huntington to Detroit. Investigators believe the drug ring had been operating for about two years.
The post further explained that multiple law enforcement agencies searched three homes on Baer Street, Madison Avenue, and Altizer Avenue in Huntington. Officers were able to seize 10 pounds of methamphetamine, 400 grams of fentanyl, multiple guns, and a large quantity of cash.
Agencies involved were the FBI, West Virginia State Police, DEA, and Huntington Police.
