Miami — It was getting on midnight Thursday. The Tigers were about to board their plane in Newark, New Jersey, and head to Miami.
And the roster wheel was spinning.
By the time the plane landed, nearly 4 a.m., three roster moves had been transacted, no easy feat at that hour when league and medical clearances were required.

Veteran right-hander Jose Urquidy was activated off the 60-day injured list and was expected to get to LoanDepot Park after 5 p.m. Friday.
