SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Some farmers and ranchers who made the trip to Washington, D.C., felt that some of their concerns related to the farm bill and tariffs were left unheard.
Representative Dusty Johnson said he feels the same way they do.
Congressman Dusty Johnson said right now, the congressional senate is focused on other matters.
“I certainly tried to do my part as one of the six subcommittee chairmen on the ag committee. I made sure to get the farm bill drafted, we were able to get bipartisan votes for it, and we were able to get out of the agriculture committee, and the Senate didn’t do any of that. And it’s not about pointing fingers, it is about saying ‘how can we do better’,” Johnson said.
