BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Vandalism has been reported at the Louisiana Democratic Party headquarters located in downtown Baton Rouge. On Friday, the word “murderers” was found spray-painted in red in the organization’s parking lot.

This comes as tensions are running high across the country following the assassination of conservative political advocate Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University. After announcing the arrest of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson for the shooting, Utah’s governor Spencer Scott made an emotional plea for people to turn away from violence.
