NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Albuquerque's home for dinosaurs and other fossils might be closed for renovations until the spring, but now the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science is taking its curios on the road.
The Natural History and Science Museum's new mobile museum, New Mexico Rocks, takes guests through landscapes from the mountains to the mesas, telling the story of its evolution through the sands of time. "Our state is a wonderful classroom in and of itself because it's very unique. If you look out at the landscape, we have the crossroads of all these different geologic areas and regions that are really interesting," said Stephanie Lukowski, the Director of Education of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science.
