Two people were killed in a helicopter crash in Carbon County on Thursday.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. in a wooded area along the 300 block of Maury Road, near the Penn’s Peak concert hall in Jim Thorpe.

Officials told WBRE/WYOU that the helicopter had been doing linework. The exact nature of the work was not known.
