In the midst of a six-game losing streak and beginning a seventh game with a six-run deficit , the Mets’ frustrations were showing.

Jeff McNeil was ejected from Friday’s game at Citi Field against the Rangers after erupting following a called strike three.

Facing Jacob deGrom in the fourth inning of a game the Mets trailed, 6-3, McNeil worked back from an 0-2 hole and forced a full count.
