DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — A serious collision involving a motorcycle and an overturned van occurred on Friday, September 12th on Reid Road near the US 60 Wendell Ford Expressway Overpass.

Emergency crews from multiple agencies, including the Daviess County Sheriff's Office and local fire departments, responded to the scene. The crash involved a van carrying several children, including a 1-month-old, and a motorcyclist who suffered severe leg injuries.

"The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital Emergency Department with multiple severe injuries to one of his legs," the report said. He was later airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital.
