HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke Community Charter School celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special event, marking two decades of providing educational options to families in Holyoke.

The celebration brought together parents, graduates, and founders to commemorate the school's impact on the community.

Since its opening, the charter school has offered an alternative educational path for students in the city.

"The school has been granted five more years, and we expect to continue to send strong students to the high school," said Dr. Sonia Carilla-Pope, Principal of Holyoke Community Charter School.
