CHEYENNE – Cheyenne locals Georgia and Dave Rowswell, the owners of Open Door Arts (formerly Blue Door Arts), leave next week for an artist residency across the state.

This is the first residency they'll be doing together, and Dave's first residency overall. They were selected as the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources Artists in Residence (SPCR) for 2025, and will spend about 10 days total traveling to Curt Gowdy State Park, Guernsey State Park, Glendo State Park and Seminoe State Park. They leave for their road trip on Sept. 20 and will finish their residency on Sept. 29.
