Morristown West battled but fell to David Crockett 29-27 after failing a two-point conversion in the final minute.

With the loss, the Trojans fell to 0-4 for the first time since 1971 and start 0-1 in Region 1-5A.

After falling behind 10-0, the Trojans scored 21 unanswered points to take control. However, the Pioneers stormed back with 19 unanswered of their own.

West was able to put together one last scoring drive down eight in the final two minutes, which was set up by Riley McClellan connecting with Lucas Orr for a 54-yard gain and finished with a 12-yard reception from Josh Akard. However, the Trojans could not convert the two-point try, and Crockett kneeled the clock out.
