DUXBURY — Each time Scituate clashes with Duxbury in football, a classic is almost guaranteed.

The two Patriot League heavyweights have faced off in the Div. 4 Super Bowl three times in the last four seasons. On Friday, it was Grayson Foley’s time to shine in a regular season bout. The senior running back racked up a whopping 33 carries for 185 yards and a pair of touchdowns, delivering the Sailors an impressive 27-15 victory over the Dragons on the road.

“(It meant) a lot,” Foley said. “Facing Duxbury, it’s a rivalry game. They’re a great program. Then coming out, winning the game, especially after that Super Bowl win? That’s a big team moment for us, and a big push for the rest of the season.”
