LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Former Delta Township Supervisor Ken Fletcher has taken a plea deal in a case stemming from a 2024 investigation that saw him arrested on child sex charges.

In September 2024, Fletcher resigned from his position as township supervisor while under investigation for allegedly having sexual conversations with what he thought was a 15-year-old boy on the dating app Grindr in August that year.

Investigators say the conversation moved to text messages from a number associated with Fletcher, who eventually offered to meet with the boy at the Lansing Mall.

Court documents say that "15-year-old boy" was actually an undercover detective with the Eaton County Sheriff's Office, and on Aug. 21, 2024, investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed
