A Thursday morning crash caused a tank of liquid fertilizer to rupture, making the westbound lanes of West Chocolate Avenue in Derry Township dangerous for drivers, police said.
The crash forced the closure of West Chocolate Avenue (SR 0422) westbound, from Park Avenue (SR 0743) to Ridge Road, according to Derry Township police.
The crash was reported at 11:15 a.m., Dauphin County emergency dispatch told PennLive. No injuries were reported.
Police said eastbound lanes on Chocolate Avenue past the crash scene remain open.
Authorities have called crews to clean up the spill. It’s unclear what caused the crash.
