FISHERS, Ind. — The Fishers Tigers scored their second straight win in the "Mudsock" rivalry game and their third straight win over Class 6A No. 5 Hamilton Southeastern after taking down the Royals 28-16 on Friday night.

Fishers entered the game on the heels of back-to-back wins after dropping their season-opening game against Carmel . They also entered having won their last two matchups against crosstown rival Hamilton Southeastern.

Last season, Fishers defeated HSE in the regular season and then followed that up by beating them again in the sectional championship.

A top-five ranking in the AP poll meant the Royals needed to flip the script in order to keep positive momentum going in their strong start to the season.

The Tigers struck first early in the game, scoring on a 1-yard run
