PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Nick Herbig is ‘very optimistic’ that he will play against the Seattle Seahawks , he said after practice on Friday. After a full practice on Thursday, Herbig confirmed that he put in yet another full practice on Friday, putting him in line to be the team’s third outside linebacker.
“I’m feeling really good, think I’m ready to go,” Herbig said.
Herbig added that the hamstring feels great, and there is no concern about him re-injuring the same issue he first suffered against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With him in tow, the Steelers hope to crack open the pass rush.
