HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A former Ewa Beach resident is set to star in a new Disney TV show.

Milo Maharlika plays Demi, a 600-year-old ghost, in the new show “Vampirina: Teenage Vampire,” which debuted Friday on the Disney Channel.

Maharlika got his big break more than two years ago as the young revolutionary Gavroche in the popular Broadway musical Les Misérables.

Maharlika appears in all 16 episodes of season one, which will be available to stream on Disney+ on Oct. 15.
