COVINA — West Covina’s football team was seeking vengeance in Friday’s night’s showdown vs. South Hills.
After suffering a crushing loss to the Huskies last season , West Covina returned the favor in a big way in a 48-23 win over South Hills to reclaim the Kings of Cameron trophy.
The Bulldogs scored 21 unanswered points in the first half en route to their biggest win over South Hills since their 42-0 rout in 2022. It’s the fifth time in six years that West Covina has defeated its crosstown rivals.
