Designs have been revealed of what new play areas at two Nuneaton parks will look like. CoventryLive reported that parks across the borough were set to be given a make-over as part of a huge 'outdoor improvements' project.
Among them are Lilleburne play area, which is being given a £26,000 refurbishment while there will be a new natural play trail around Bermuda balancing lake, which is set to cost just under £20,000.
At Lilleburne Drive, a new roundabout, see-saw and climbing frame is set to be installed. They will replace the old equipment in the play area.
The borough council has said that the installation will start on September 22 and will take approximately two weeks. During the works, a section of the play area will remain open.
