A tough week of practice following the Week 1 loss to Columbia River seems to have righted the football ship at Seton Catholic.

The Cougars scored on all six of their first-half possession en route to a 45-20 non-league win over visiting Mark Morris on Friday.

Gesser threw four touchdown passes to four different receivers, and sophomore Asher LaPointe added one as well for a 42-0 halftime lead.

Gesser’s TDs went to Aqeel Bauman (7 yards), Jace Callerame (7 yards), Jaxon Crabtree (38 yards), and Graham Dumas (37 yards).

LaPointe connected with Xavier Crank on a 19-yard TD pass, and Crank also scored on an 18-yard run.
