BATTLE GROUND — Deven Vigue threw five touchdown passes, four to Tommie Vick, as Prairie beat Washougal 48-22 on Friday at District Stadium.
Vigue finished with 304 yards passing and rushed for 84 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown as the Falcons improved to 2-0.
The Falcons have scored 94 points over the first two games and are playing with the confidence of a team that expects to contend for the 3A Greater St. Helens League title.
“This is what we expected,” Vick said. “We expect to go undefeated this season. We’re going to state.”
Vick finished with 144 receiving yards on just five catches. He got free for a 34-yard touchdown for the game’s first score, then caught a 14-yard pass to put Prairie ahead 24-6 with 7:14 left in the first half.
