RAVENA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Defending Class A section champ Averill Park made a pronounced entrance into its new classification - Class B - last week, shutting out Lansingburgh, 39-0. But the Golden Knights met their match in Week 2, squaring off with one of the class's perennial contenders, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, in the 1st & 10 "Game of the Week".
Averill Park was in the driver's seat midway through the fourth quarter, but a late touchdown connection between Ravena's Mason Carkner and JT Foy propelled the Ravens to a 14-13 victory over the champs.
