HONOLULU (Island News) -- A man suffered serious injuries while riding a motorcycle in a car crash on Kapiolani Boulevard on Thursday morning.

The accident took place just north of Ala Moana on Kapiolani Boulevard and Keeaumoku Street. Paramedics responded to the 48-year-old man at 8:50 a.m. after he collided with a car.

The motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the emergency room in serious condition. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The possible factors that led to this crash were not reported.
