The search for a man wanted in connection with a rape probe is continuing as police issued a further appeal to help track him down.
North Yorkshire Police want to speak to Clifford Church in connection with an alleged rape last month and have been searching for him for several weeks. Detectives believe the 62-year-old, who has links to Teesside, may be sleeping on the streets in Leeds.
The force has issued a renewed appeal, releasing new information about the investigation. While police are appealing for any sightings, they believe people using Leeds bus station, the city’s Kirkgate Market and the homeless population in the city centre may have encountered Mr Church.
