A city man was shot to death Friday night in the area of the 300 block of Broadview Terrace, police said.

Miguel Alfinez, 38, of Broadview Terrace, Hartford, was found just before 7 p.m. and died later at an unidentified hospital, police said.

Hartford police patrol officers responded to the area of the 300 block of Broadview Terrace on a report of a person shot and found Alfinez, police said. He was transported to an area

hospital for treatment.

Alfinez ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased, police said.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the
