The fourth Plymouth Honey Show is taking place in Plympton, Plymouth on September 27 and is set to be the biggest yet.
Organised by the Plymouth Branch of the Devon Beekeepers’ Association (PBKA), the show was orignially just for members, but was opened up to the public after the pandemic, and has grown in visitor numbers each year.
This year also marks the association’s 40th birthday which will be celebrated at the show. Olga Grieves, who looks after the PBKA’s social media and also the Honey Show said: “There’ll be plenty of cake, free face painting, candle rolling and lots of things for children and adults alike to enjoy while learning more about bees and other pollinators.”
