It looks as though there’s trouble ahead for one Coronation Street fan-favourite as they’re rushed into emergency surgery.

This week, ITV viewers were shocked when they saw Coronation Street legend Tyrone Dobbs (played by Alan Halsall) get struck down by a car. ‌

The beloved character on the soap, which recently saw one star tease a return, became a victim of a hit and run when Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) and Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) struck him down on the street. ‌

Both Dylan and Brody have found themselves involved in Carl Webster's (Jonathan Howard) car-theft scheme and found themselves heading straight towards Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin). ‌
