Heroes Helping Heroes food drive happening Saturday in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - The biggest veteran food distribution event in the state will take place Saturday morning in Pueblo.

Heroes Helping Heroes Southern Colorado Veteran Food Distribution starts at 9 a.m. at CSU Pueblo, according to Care and Share. The event is scheduled to end at 2 p.m.

The distribution will help local veterans and their families by providing fresh, nutritious food and several other wrap-around services.

The organization’s mission is to extend a hand to veteran families in Pueblo and 14 rural counties who may be facing challenging times.
