COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A man wanted for several felonies was arrested Friday evening in Colorado Springs.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers found a vehicle near 2000 Southgate Road at 7 p.m.

Police said the vehicle’s registered owner had a felony warrant from the Fountain Police Department for multiple drug felonies and a weapon felony.

Officers confirmed the driver’s identity, Zebediah Morris, and took him into custody without incident.

Police said K9 Officer Rigs conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. After searching the vehicle, officers say they found 50g of schedule II narcotics and evidence of drug distribution.
