LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Brandon White walked into St. Edward’s locker room at halftime Friday night and apologized to his teammates.

He had just fumbled the football moments earlier, leading to a return by Glenville sophomore Jaylen Edwards for a touchdown. The Eagles trailed by a point, and White promised to make up for it.
