BRECKSVILLE, Ohio -- In the battle of Route 82 West, the Nordonia Knights defeated the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees 23-13 on Friday.

With the victory, the Knights, ranked 17th in the cleveland.com high school football Top 25, improved to 4-0. The Bees fall to 2-2 after a 2-0 start to the season.

Unlike in Nordonia’s first three contests, the Bees defense kept the Knights in check in the first half and they had to play from behind early.

On the Knights’ first possession, quarterback Steven Fakult was picked off by Brecksville’s Tyler Soeder. After the interception, Brecksville quarterback Nate Henegar completed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Patrick Murphy, which gave Brecksville the early lead 6-0.
