EUCLID, Ohio (WOIO) - The Euclid Fire Department reported no injuries after a house fire early Saturday morning.

According to a Facebook post, Euclid firefighters responded to a house at around 3:41 a.m. in the 27000 block of Mallard Avenue.

When firefighters arrived at the home, there was heavy fire coming through the roof.

The two residents had safely exited the home prior to firefighters arriving, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

The origin and cause of the fire are still under investigation.

The Euclid Fire Department also reminded residents of the importance of having working smoke detectors on each level of a home and testing them regularly.
