MARTINSBURG - Musselman and Martinsburg found their way into the win column for the first time this season on Friday, with the Appleton and Bulldogs winning in different fashions.
The Applemen, after taking the lead in the fourth quarter, made a defensive stand with seconds left in the game to secure the 21-14 upset win over Wheeling Park.
Musselman got on the board in the second quarter on a 19-yard touchdown throw from Zach Miller to Landon Clise to tie the game at 7-all. The Applemen tied the game at 14-all in the third quarter on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Colton Shelton to Josh Armentrout, then took the lead for good with 4:28 remaining in the game on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Shelton to Miller.
