BOWLING GREEN — Hundreds of Bowling Green State University students, alumni, and faculty spent Saturday morning running, eating, and playing with their families and friends.
University alumni Angela and Dustin Mills, for example, watched their two daughters, Abigail, 10, and Rose, 6, play games including Connect 4 before running in the university’s Kid Dash event, a 100-meter race for children.
“We’re just going to hang around and do the games and stuff,” Mr. Mills said.
That was just one of several events the university held to celebrate and prepare for BGSU’s homecoming game against Liberty University later Saturday evening.
