AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person is dead and two others suffer critical, life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Lago Vista on Saturday afternoon, Austin-Travis County EMS said in a post on X.

Just after 2 p.m., first responders responded to the crash that involved 3 adults in the 23000 block of FM 1431 Road near Tessera Parkway, Travis County ESD #1 said in a social media post.

In an update around 2:49 p.m., ATCEMS said one person was pronounced dead on scene.
