AUSTIN (KXAN) -- It's cold front day!
Ahead of the front, this morning will feel warm and sticky. Gradually, this front will sag south bringing spotty to scattered showers/storms, breezy north winds and cooler temperatures through the day.
Scattered showers and storms will bring some of us rain, but not all of us. We're forecasting 60% rain coverage with rainfall amounts generally disappointingly low.
While localized 1"+ rainfall totals are possible, most areas will received well under that.
Rain chances rise as the cold front approaches and drop as the front slides south bringing much drier weather back to Central Texas Wednesday evening.
Briefly heavy rain will be possible along with gusty winds as the front moved through.
