LINCOLN, Neb. —

Coach Matt Rhule started his news conference off saying that team was "efficient" and the win over Houston Christian was a good way to end non-conference play.

He also gave Terence "Bud" Crawford a shout-out, saying he was excited for him as he gets ready for his fight against Canelo Alvarez.

"Wish him the best," the coach said.

When asked if he was happy with the progress of the team, Rhule said there was a lot of improvement over the Akron game.

"We're a significantly better team than we have been," said Rhule, but he also mentioned that if the team stays where they are, they won't win many more games.
