WARREN, MI -- Four individuals were arrested after a stolen vehicle chase led to an officer-involved shooting in Warren, MI on Friday, Sept. 12.

Warren Police officers responded to a report of a stolen GMC Acadia near 8 Mile Road and Waltham Street at roughly 6:35 p.m., according to a police report from the Warren Police Department.

When officers approached the vehicle in the parking lot of an open business, the driver attempted to flee. Three other occupants were inside the vehicle.

The vehicle struck two Warren Police patrol cars and allegedly drove toward officers when the officer-involved shooting occurred, the release said.

The vehicle fled the scene with officers in pursuit until the vehicle became disabled near 8 Mile Road and Yonka Street in Detroit.
